4 DAYS NAKURU MASAI MARA LUXURY LODGES

This tour starts at Nakuru, where you will have the opportunity to see the resident black and white rhinos, leopards, lions and flamingos. The park provides visitors with some of Kenya’s best-known bird watching. Thousands of flamingoes come together into a massive flock that fringes the shores of the soda lake, creating a pursing pink swathe of life that carpets the waters. The safari then proceeds to the Masai Mara, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Day 1 NAIROBI- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel and driven to Nakuru via the Great Rift Valley. You will have a mid-morning game drive and then lunch at the lodge. During your game drives, you will have the opportunity to see an abundance of wildlife. The flamingos are an especially breathtaking sight! This is an important sanctuary for both the black and white rhinos, which can often be found under the acacias. There are also Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and leopards. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at a luxury lodge.

Day 2 LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK-MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast, you will drive to Masai Mara via Narok, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Seventh Wonder of the World and spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, etc.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. It covers an area of over 1500 square km and is one of Kenya’s most popular tourism destinations. It is situated in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Nowhere else in Africa is wildlife more abundant, hence the opportunity to see the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ashnil mara camp.

Day 3 MASAI MARA-NAIROBI

After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive and a picnic lunch along the banks of the Mara River. You will have the opportunity to see the Big Five, hippos, crocodiles and the spectacular wildebeest migration. Nowhere else in Africa is wildlife more abundant!

The great wildebeest migration lasts from August to October each year. There is plenty of accommodation options both inside and outside the reserve, including lodges, camps and temporary tents. Balloon safaris are available as well.

Day 4 MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Depending on the time of your return flight, you will have an early morning game drive before enjoying breakfast and driving back to Nairobi.
